Through the simulation lab, students acquire skills in communicating with patients, diagnosing cases, and dealing with emergency medical situations. The lab also contributes to refining students’ basic clinical skills before they move to the real hospital environment, ensuring their practical readiness. In addition, the lab provides an opportunity to consolidate the learning outcomes that students acquire during their training in hospitals.
By training in a simulated environment, all students are ensured to have equal training experiences and the same opportunities to learn clinical skills. This approach ensures uniformity of learning among all students, regardless of possible differences in their training in hospitals.
Simulation Lab Objectives
- Developing students' diagnostic and treatment skills.
- Enhancing confidence in making clinical decisions.
- Providing an interactive and safe educational environment.
- Qualifying students and shaping their skills before entering hospitals.
- Training students using computerized medical puppets that simulate the human body.
This laboratory is an important pillar in training future doctors, and contributes effectively to improving the quality of medical education in the Faculty.
